This place doesn't know how to go small --- and that's not a bad thing. If you’re not up for the XL Grindhouse Challenge --- that’s ten or more charred patties between two buns --- there are plenty of alternatives. To start, they've added chorizo to traditional jalapeño poppers and wrapped them in bacon. The 2AM Burger is topped with a breakfast sausage patty, trio of bacon slices, cheddar and Monterey jack cheeses and a fried egg. There's also XL hash, with meat, onions, peppers and potatoes served on a skillet with eggs any style. And if you want a cold beer, there are 20 ales on tap and 117 available by the bottle. Be warned: We've found the service sometimes spotty and slow, but the burgers are worth the wait.
