ZinBurger Restaurant Review: The concept is simple: wine and burgers. But simple doesn’t equate to boring. In fact, the El Diablo burger is topped with fire-roasted jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, caramelized onions and a dollop of chipotle mayo for good measure. The Samburger is a kicked-up classic thanks to Nueske’s apple wood-smoked bacon, American cheese and Thousand Island dressing. Of course, you can always build your own burger, opting for a whole slew of quality toppings, but the ‘Burger of the Month’ is a good option as well. Add a side of zucchini fries and you’ve got yourself a meal. There are also several non-red meat choices. Wine selections are under the direction of the capable Regan Jasper and crew. Alternatively, try the one of the shakes: Bars of Zin is all about chocolate and crunch. Some find this place noisy, but thankfully two patios --- a sunny one in front and a shaded one in back --- offer quiet respites. |
