THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Zoli's NY Pizza Tavern Restaurant Review:

The pizzas at Jay Jerrier’s Zoli's stand in sharp contrast to the Neapolitan-style pies he's known for at Il Cane Rosso. Zoli's is a more casual counter-service joint serving up three different styles of pizzas: there's the floppy, oversize New York slice; the ultra-thick, hearty-crusted Sicilian with an anchovy-tinged sauce; and the grandma pie, a crispy rectangular affair with airy innards and a fresh-tasting pomodoro sauce. The kitchen gets creative with toppings, with everything from buffalo chicken to meatballs and ricotta. Besides pizza, there’s also killer garlic knots, crunchy fried zucchini served with house-made jalapeño ranch, and a better-than-usual house salad with shaved Parm and creamy Italian dressing. Round out the meal with tiny cans of Italian wine and an order of diavoletti, fried dough strips drizzled with Nutella, salted caramel and powdered sugar.
