Zumi Sushi Japanese Kitchen Restaurant Review: Fresh tropical flavors such as mango, macadamia nuts and coconut set the sushi at Zumi apart from the competition in Nashville. The spicy tuna roll gets a tune-up with Serrano peppers, fresh garlic and a dusting of seaweed, and the Pacific Queen roll’s combo of tuna, macadamias, avocado, mango and cucumber is a must-try. There’s traditional nigiri and sashimi as well, but when you’re this far from the ocean, you might as well go with the more dressed-up stuff. We also suggest the cooked main dishes: try the basil mango curry for a sweet, sultry change of pace. The saké and wine lists are reasonably inclusive, and the selection of sweet cocktails is full of dessert contenders.
