Banana Cake Recipe
This banana cake recipe is simple and delicious.
“Bake the world a better place,” chef Barbara Pollastrini likes to say.
In a bowl, stir together:
– ½ cup melted butter
– 1 cup sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– ½ teaspoon salt
• Add 1 ½ cup flour
• Add ½ cup heavy cream
• Add 2 smashed, overripe bananas
• Mix all the ingredients
• Add ½ cup chopped almonds
• Add ½ cup golden raisins (optional)
Bake at 350 degrees in a preheated oven. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clear.
