Actors Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley have become so friendly that they created a bourbon called Brother’s Bond Bourbon. (The pair met on the set of The Vampire Diaries.) Distilled and aged in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the bourbon is made with four classic grains – corn, rye, wheat, and barley.

Brother’s Bond Bourbon extends its use with recipes. Get ready to dip in bourbon.

INGREDIENTS

– 1/2 cup roasted cashew butter
– 4 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tbsp dijon mustard
– juice of 1/2 lemon
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1 tbsp honey
– 1 oz. Brother’s Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey
– salt and pepper, to taste

METHOD

• Add cashew butter, garlic, dijon, lemon juice, and paprika in a bowl and mix until a creamy consistency is achieved.
• Add honey, bourbon, salt and pepper to taste and continue mixing.
• Serve at room temperature.
