Rosé Wine Cocktails

By Sophie Gayot

Escape to Saint-Tropez with these two rosé wine cocktails created by the mixologist at UP, Ultimate Provence.

This estate, 30 minutes from the celebrated city on the French Riviera, produces AOP Côtes-de-Provence from a 46-acre organic vineyard located at the foothills of the Maures mountain range.

In the middle of the property, there is a boutique hotel with a contemporary chic urban design in contrast with the charm of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.

> “A wine with fruity aromas. It is balanced and elegant as the bottle. A finish with a juicy acidity,” says GAYOT’s Wine & Spirits Editor Dirk Smits about UP.

Ultimate Frosé

To cool down on a hot afternoon, the Ultimate Frosé is the perfect combination of icy mint and lime in harmony with the elegance of Ultimate Provence rosé, enhanced by the tangy sweetness of crushed red fruits.

3.5 oz. (10 cl.) UP Rosé
12 oz. (4 cl.) Chambord liqueur
1 oz. (3 cl.) muddled/crushed red fruit
6 mint leaves
1 squeeze of lime
1 dash of cane sugar

The Rosy

The Rosy is a refreshing long drink that highlights all the complex aromatic flavors of Ultimate Provence rosé. A delicious blend of Ultimate Provence rosé, St-Germain liqueur, fresh thyme, homemade thyme syrup, lime and prosecco, this cocktail, as refreshing as it is light, is perfect for a sultry summer picnic.

3 oz. UP rosé
1 shot (1 oz.) St-Germain liqueur
4 tsp grapefruit simple syrup
