At 3 Square, a casual, neighborhood café, chef Hans Röckenwagner's talent with baked goods shines more brightly than ever. In the morning, guests can enjoy German apple pancakes with crème fraîche, plump fruit scones, and grilled weisswurst (pork and veal sausage) with two eggs and a pretzel roll. Lunchtime specialties include seared cod over farro risotto, beef goulash, and a toasted Jidori chicken club with bacon, tomato jam, basil mayo and avocado. Not to be missed is Röckenwagner’s signature burger, topped with caramelized onions and Swiss, all served on Hans’ own pretzel bread. It's available throughout the day and evening. During dinner, a more comprehensive menu features wild boar stew and fried chicken schnitzel with a sweet potato waffle. The concise wine list includes many notable Austrian options by the glass.
