THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Las Canarias Restaurant Review:
Enjoy the serene dining room overlooking the river at one of River Walk’s most elegant enclaves. The moniker Las Canarias comes from the named for the pioneering settlers of San Antonio from the Canary Islands. The menu is influenced by Latin cuisine as well as Texas-style techniques smoking and grilling. Starters kick off with a seared foie gras tostada or Texas redfish ceviche. Continue with dishes like whole roasted Texas quail, peppercorn venison or grilled Gulf prawns. The justly famous brunch remains worthy of attention, service is smooth, and margaritas are never a bad idea.
