Traci Des Jardins took her love of sustainability and her grandmother's recipes and melded them into a gourmet cocina Mexicana. Nestled in the Ferry Building, the brightly decorated counter-service restaurant boasts a view of the Bay, as well as outside picnic tables where one can soak up the sun. Beer-battered mahi mahi and crisp cabbage comprise the fish taco. Slow-braised pork and red tomatillo salsa are showered with cilantro and onions in the carnitas taco. Quesadillas, salads and soups and a short list of aguas fresca round out the menu. Satisfy your sweet tooth with chocolate flan. On weekends, brunch specials include chilaquiles, huevos rancheros and chorizo con huevos. Imbibers can sip margaritas, beer or sangria.
