THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Norio's Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar Restaurant Review:

Tucked away on a courtyard overlooking a serene koi pond within Fairmont Orchid, and with just 60 seats, this secluded, intimate eatery has such a warm atmosphere that you forget you are in a large hotel. At the sushi bar, you can see the chefs at work. (The restaurant’s namesake, chef Norio Yamamoto, has since moved on to other ventures.) Choose from numerous sushi and sashimi variations. We recommend the miso black cod; also available are shrimp tempura, a scallop napoleon, “From The Grill” selections like a 31-day dry-aged Wagyu rib-eye with a choice of sauces, and a chef’s choice tasting. Finish the meal with a spoonful of delicate green tea ice cream. A notable array of saké is offered on the otherwise brief wine list.
