Baroo was much beloved in its three-year Hollywood run. Chef/owner Kwang Uh, with partner Mina Park, opened this tiny kitchen in East Hollywood at the Union Swap Meet, to “experiment and prepare” for the next baroo iteration. Don’t miss the “Brother of Karma” sandwich made with smoked gochujang marinated organic chicken salad with smoked cheese, cabbage with sesame dressing, pickled onion and dill on Bub & Grandma’s ciabatta, or the “Jangtatouille” bowl of ratatouille made with organic bell pepper, eggplant, zucchini, doenjang, barley and smoked Gouda, and topped with Windrose mustard frill, grilled Flora Bella wasabina, puffed job's tears and perilla powder.
