Bistro Provence Restaurant Review: Tucked away in a shopping strip along Memorial Drive, Bistro Provence has a casual atmosphere and greets guests with a cheerful yellow-and-blue country décor. You’ll start with a fragrant basket of fougasse (a pretzel-shaped bread of Provence) arriving warm from the wood-burning oven, which is enhanced with the spreadable tapenade. Good bets include the house pâté; the stuffed green-lip New Zealand mussels; a sturdy beef stew; Cornish hen; and a thick rib-eye in a light red wine sauce. A fairly lengthy wine list with half and full bottles rounds out the experience. |
