The Broken Shaker Restaurant Review:
The Broken Shaker is located in a mostly residential part of Miami Beach on the grounds of Freehand Miami, a renovated Art Deco boutique hostel. At the helm are mixologists Gabriel Orta and Elad Zvi of Bar Lab, who started the place as a pop-up. The walled bar yard has a pool, ping pong tables, mismatched patio furniture, hammocks and edible gardens where herbs and produce grow for the seasonal, hand-crafted cocktails. Cocktails rotate often, but patrons might encounter a Spiced Strawberry Old Fashioned. Bar bites include hummus, beef jerky and a double bacon cheeseburger. A fruity botanical cocktail makes for a liquid dessert.
