THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Agri Restaurant Review:
"Vegetarian," "vegan" and "gluten-free" are often synonymous with "buzz-kill." Not at Café Agri, where imaginative dishes are prepared from the best output from local farms, supplemented with top imports. Start your meal with thin-sliced yams, baked into chips and paired with a lively guacamole, or roasted heirloom tomatoes finished with basil and locally produced mozzarella. Entrées swing with the seasons, but could include ricotta- and herb-stuffed chard, creamy polenta topped with a colorful mélange of root vegetables or maple-glazed tofu over nutty wild rice. As for the gluten-free baked goods, you'll never suspect that the rich cappuccino-infused brownies are wheat flour-free. The children's menu (mac ‘n’ cheese, an organic veggie burger) is designed to appeal to kids of all ages, and the inexpensive wine list focuses on organic and biodynamic labels.
