Casta Diva Restaurant Review

: This 20-plus-seat Italian BYOB exudes simplicity, from its minimal townhouse décor to its good, unpretentious food. As a bonus, a soundtrack of operatic selections adds to the mood. Even better, the chef and staff couldn't be friendlier. The menu favors delicate fare --- shaved roasted artichokes with exotic radishes, crespelli with ricotta, branzino in tomato saffron broth --- and dishes are well executed and bursting with freshness. The veal chop with veal sugo is also a winner, as is the creamy tiramisu. Quarters are tight, so it’s not the best choice for an intimate evening. Remember this spot is cash only.
