Calexico Restaurant Review:

Named for a California border town, this Brooklyn Mexican eatery began life as a cart. From there, the owners expanded into a full-blown taqueria, much to the neighborhood’s delight. The décor of stucco and Christmas lights is fitting enough for the no-frills but better-than-average Mexican fare. Most of the offerings are fairly typical --- large burritos and juicy meat-filled tacos, as well as a rolled quesadilla. But daily specials deviate: burritos and tacos filled with ingredients like pumpkin or pork belly.
