Despite the name, this is no churrascaria or Argentine steakhouse. Carne is one of the few hip, downtown-designed spots in this neck of the woods, attracting a slew of Columbia students with its soaring space, big bar, and affordable American food. While you can get a 22-ounce rib-eye steak, you can also chow on calamari crusted in blue corn, seared foie gras and grilled lobster.
