Timmy Chu’s restaurant features Monterey Park-trained chef Frank Wong in the kitchen and fish swimming in three tanks. China Star offers many items that don't exist in other San Fernando Valley Chinese restaurants. Come for pork and bitter melon soup, green onion pancakes, Taiwanese-style crispy duck, whole crab with ginger and onion and, best of all, a winning selection of dim sum.
