THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Crapitto's Restaurant Review:

Based in a former farmhouse with a huge patio shaded by oak trees, Crapitto’s dishes up hearty Italian fare prepared from old family recipes. It’s one of our favorite spots during the summer tomato season, when owner Frank Crapitto trucks in his homegrown tomatoes from his farm in Huntsville. The tomato caprese insalata is a meal by itself when topped with lump crab meat. But the pastas shine as well, from the spicy pasta Diablo with jalapeños, to Grandma Crapitto’s lasagna. Meat lovers can go for the signature 16-ounce veal loin chop with Parmesan, asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes; on Saturdays the kitchen turns out a fine osso buco. Key lime cheesecake is always a good way to end the meal. There’s a full bar and lengthy wine list featuring some big Tuscans, too.
