THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Elixir Restaurant Review:
THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES TO ONE HUNDRED NIGHTS. Sip Olympics-inspired cocktails and share global plates like Buffalo Bobsleigh (miso-marinated buffalo saté), Sockeye Slalom (salmon tempura roll) and Carving Karage (chicken karage) in the funky Opus lobby lounge before sliding into a corner table in the plush red velvet room. For starters, we recommend the onion soup gratinée for its savory soaked bread and oozing melted cheese, or a retro prawn cocktail dressed with a tomato lime sauce. Meat stars here---rib-eye with frites, a juicy buffalo sirloin---but there are equally tempting alternatives, such as coq au biere or Coho salmon Wellington. For dessert, there's a classic apple tarte Tatin with tangy crème fraîche or a decadent Valrhona chocolate truffle cake. The staff is professional, providing spot-on service. Breakfast and lunch are also served to locals and hotel guests so there's no reason to leave the building if you're spending the night. A good selection of Champagnes and wines by the glass enhance a well-rounded wine list.
