Empire Cafe Restaurant Review

: This popular Montrose spot caters to locals lingering over lattes in the mornings and families who dine on pastas and pizzas later in the day. It’s counter service only, but standing in line lets you gaze at the array of cakes and cookies. Breakfast can be Irish oatmeal, frittatas, or a quesadilla of ham and fried eggs. There are plenty of sandwiches, soups and salads for lunch, and the dinner menu touts pretty good chicken or eggplant Parmigiana. Two patios fill up fast during nice weather.
