Eric's Restaurant Review:
As the in-house restaurant of the University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College, Eric’s is the training ground for the next wave of hot chefs. After a makeover, the dining rooms and bar area are nicely lit and have warm wood paneling. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, the restaurant is a good spot for business meals and for students and faculty. Foods are mostly locally sourced and the menu tends to be regional American with a bit of Mediterranean flair. There’s a dine-in $8 lunch special that’s hard to beat for the price, or you can choose the pollo Eric, a pan-seared, cashew-crusted chicken breast topped with a wicked mango habanero cream sauce. A full bar and good desserts round out the experience, making this a place worthy of multiple visits.![]()
