THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Eros Restaurant Review:
Diners at this romantic, candlelit taverna nestle into booths, loveseats or sofas, then settle into a $29.99 prix-fixe three-course meal. (The restaurant is so busy on weekends that usually only the prix-fixe is available; sometimes during the week, an à la carte menu is offered, too.) Appealing appetizers on the prix-fixe include feta baked with vine-ripened tomatoes and bell peppers and seasoned with fresh oregano, and ouzo-drenched mussels with fresh tomatoes and haloumi cheese. Then comes the main course: grilled rack of lamb with lemon juice, rock salt and oregano, filet mignon with homemade Greek noodles, or moussaka, to name just a few of the favorites. And for dessert theres a sampler of Greek specialties. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, belly dancers provide entertainment.
