Farmhaus Restaurant Restaurant Review:

Farmhaus’ evening meals are hearty with a retro flair, from the bacon-wrapped meatloaf to knackwurst over braised cabbage, and a spinach salad with smoked chicken hearts, roasted beets and bacon fat-fried peanuts. Chef Kevin Willmann’s artistry with everything from smoked hog’s head to pickled wax beans has earned him a loyal following and enough trust to sell a steak-and-lobster entrée at nearly $50 a serving. Save room for seasonal desserts: tarts, panna cotta, crumbles and ice cream. There’s an extensive wine and beer list during dinner; at lunch, the meal deal includes only iced tea.
