: Gamekeeper's Taverne, known for its game dishes, is both sophisticated and rustic in the same bite. Dinner entrées include seafood and pasta, but the main attraction is meat. Choose between chops, beef, elk and veal, prepared simply and with classic French leanings. Prosciutto-wrapped rabbit loin is served over creamy polenta, while seared elk loin is paired with an earthy corn and asparagus risotto. We also suggest the Berkshire pork chop with bold tomato and bacon kraut, topped with a sweet cider reduction. The desserts make for a sweet finish. Add a glass of wine from the more than adequate list, or try a stiff martini. Patrons can opt for an indoor, fireside or alfresco courtyard dining experience. |
