Green Earth Cafe Restaurant Review:

This unobtrusive little take-out counter on the second floor of the Hollywood & Highland complex is easy to miss. At first glance, it looks like your basic California sandwich shop, offering iced chai and pastries in the morning and a very basic selection of turkey sandwiches and veggie wraps from lunch until late. But closer investigation will reveal that this deli is actually sweet-tooth heaven, offering a fine pastry selection. Past the sandwich counter and around the corner from the cash register are two cases filled with individual-size versions of all the old favorites, from cream puffs to opera cake. Highlights include the fruit tarts with almond cream, carrot cake and chocolate mousse tart. Cash only.
