The Grill on Main Restaurant Review:

Located in Old Town La Quinta, this classic American bistro features an array of simple pleasures for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. While the menu teems with appetizers, salads, sandwiches, steaks and seafood, it's the dozen or so versions of the burger, a tried-and-true staple, that stand out. There’s one with Maytag blue cheese and another with chili verde, for example. The Grill has also paired bacon with mac ‘n’ cheese, blowing a little smoke into the beloved dish. Other comfort food options include meatloaf and fish ‘n’ chips. The filet mignon quesadilla is a nice departure from an otherwise ho-hum entrée --- it’s made with goat cheese, spinach and portobello mushrooms, adding a mélange of flavor. Vegetarian options abound. Those with a sweet tooth can expect traditional desserts such as bread pudding. There’s a full bar and more than three dozen wines by the glass, plus a list of craft beers that pair nicely with the cuisine.
