Harvest by Roy Ellamar Restaurant Review

: An earthy vibe is achieved via rock walls, a hardwood floor and wood and marble tabletops. You don’t have to wait long to eat, for rolling snack carts bring several choices, including beef satay with lemongrass and fish sauce, steak tartare with mustard seeds and oyster aïoli, and ahi poke with bourbon soy and red chili. Share plates worth experiencing are octopus that’s marinated overnight for resulting tenderness, charred and paired with potato purée; and a charcuterie board with foie gras torchon, house-made pâté de campagne, pig head terrine, country ham and pork belly rillette. From the grill, we like the dry-aged Prime 18-ounce bone-in rib-eye served with red wine reduction and hollandaise sauce. Fisherman’s stew highlights the seafood that is flown in daily, with assorted fish and shellfish in a tomato saffron broth. A wine list several pages long with 380 choices is matched with a rare beer collection with fine brews such as Dogfish Head World Wide Stout, The Bruery 6 Geese-A-Laying Winter Dark Ale and the Belgian Rodenbach Caractere Rouge. Finish with a selection from the sweet wagon, which has assorted handcrafted candies, cupcakes, berry tarts and cream puffs.
