Set atop a hillside overlooking Zuma Beach, this small country-style cottage café has a wraparound patio and warming fire pit thanks to a remodel of the Malibu Country Inn. The charming pathway to the bluff-top café is lined with roses and wildflowers. For a romantic evening, arrive at sunset and sit under the stars to soak in the warm breezes and the sweeping view over the ocean and palms. Menu highlights include ahi tartare with ginger-soy sauce and brioche, macadamia-crusted halibut with mango-papaya citrus sauce and osso buco served over spinach risotto. For dessert, don’t miss the triple chocolate mousse. Bring the kids; they get their own menu.
