WE ARE SAD TO ANNOUNCE THAT CHEF JOEL ROBUCHON PASSED AWAY AUGUST 6, 2018. READ ANDRE GAYOT'S TRIBUTE TO THE CHEF OF THE CENTURY.

It may be unusual to find an ornate French château in the middle of a busy commercial area of Tokyo, but then dinner at the sparkly, gilded Joël Robuchon Restaurant is far from the usual as well. The evening’s menu offers almost every possible delicacy in the Western world: osetra caviar, Breton lobsters, French foie gras with truffles, Bresse chicken and scallops St-Jacques, to name just a few. A wine tasting menu to accompany every course can be arranged in full or half-glass portions. There is also a LA TABLE de Joël Robuchon on the premises and an Atelier in Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills. The former is a rather boring alternative, especially since many of its dishes can also be found at Atelier; but the latter is every bit as fun and lively as the original Paris restaurant.
