A few days before the official “reopening” of indoor dining in Los Angeles following the pandemic, I headed to JOEY Manhattan Beach which made its debut on March 4, 2021. It is daring to open a restaurant right now, but they did it!
JOEY is a modern concept developed by a Canadian group that operates some thirty locations between Canada and the U.S. Clearly, it’s an appealing one as attested by the line of patrons that were there when I arrived to dine — an hour wait…
