Kensho Restaurant Review:

This Japanese-inspired café and wine/saké bar in the Hollywood Hills shares the same grounds with the giant Yamashiro. Triniti café’s David Wynn along with former Triniti chef Joseph Geiskopf opened the place, although Geiskopf has since moved on from both Triniti and Kensho. The small but airy minimalist room is furnished with blond wood and handmade pottery, while a large patio offers a city view. Look for contemporary dishes of scallops and lychee, tuna butsu, and salmon with dashi rice. The hip wine list has many natural and biodynamic choices.
