THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Kitchen Restaurant Review:
The Kitchen looks like many other restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, but is not as cavernous as some other dim sum temples. It is pleasant enough, the kind of place in which both peasants and royalty might feel comfortable. Those looking to add to their repertoire of dim sum experiences should not skip The Kitchen, which offers both cart service and a checklist spanning nearly 80 items. All the usual suspects---sui mai, translucent har gow, char siu bao---are readily available, as well as some less familiar items like vibrantly colored green tea dumplings and Macau-style egg tarts. Dinner can be a far more extravagant affair, with luxuries like shark fin soup and huge king crabs taking center stage.
