The unpretentious exterior belies a decadent experience inside this high quality and fun steakhouse. We can think of nothing better than listening to tango music playing unobtrusively in the background while feasting on La Cabaña's classic Argentinean parrillada (mixed grill): a smoking-hot platter heaped with strip steak, sausages, ribs, kidneys, sweetbreads and other char-grilled cuts of beef. Simple cooking of quality meats are the by-words here. The best addition might be the chef's churrasco---a garlic, basil, parsley and oil sauce that's spread on the meats. Or simply try a sizzling oversize steak.
