La Fonda Latina Restaurant Review:

A hip, young, in-town crowd fills the tables at this easygoing restaurant that's perfect for a fast lunch or supper. Salads are generous and constructed with fresh greens; the version combining grilled pork, mango and peppers is a value. We didn't care for the too-sweet dressing offered on the side, but the kitchen will provide oil and vinegar on request. Cuban sandwiches and grilled fare along with decent Spanish paella are available, and a raft of quesadillas, burritos, a few tacos and some enchiladas round out the Mexican contribution. Chunky, tomato-and-onion-flecked salsa is prepared in-house, and the freshly made, rough-textured guacamole may be one of the city's best. Flan for dessert is fair, but there are also churros and chocolate. Sangría is a better quaff than the iffy wines, although a Mexican beer with a wedge of lime certainly works as well.
