THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED La Luna Ristorante Restaurant Review:
The walls of this stylish neighborhood trattoria are adorned with Italian Renaissance reproductions, its tables illuminated by candles. The wooden chairs, however, are not conducive to lingering over a meal. Refreshing appetizers include the caprese salad and the carpaccio duet of sea bass and salmon. The pastas can be intriguing, such as chitarrina (a kind of spaghetti) loaded with wild mushrooms in a light sauce, and rigatoni with Mascarpone cheese, spinach and prosciutto. Entrées include hearty dishes like breast of duck with shiitake mushrooms and green peppercorn with a touch of cream in a red wine sauce.
