Little Village Noodle House Restaurant Review:
Chinatown’s Little Village has a varied menu with the usual Chinese standards, and modern additions such as salads and the like that appeal to the downtown lunch crowd. Offerings include stir-fried clams with lemongrass, crunchy salt and pepper shrimp, hot and sour noodles, and black bean chicken. These dishes have more flavor than the traditionally rather bland local Chinese fare, and feature plenty of garlic and chilies, plus aspects like no MSG and the use of heart-healthy olive oil. We also recommend the pan-fried beef and honey-walnut shrimp.
