: The idea of a neighborhood trattoria with a comfortable atmosphere and good food crafted with homemade ingredients inspires the Louise's Trattoria chain. The menu is mostly an assortment of Italian classics --- meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce, chicken Parmigiana, and butternut squash ravioli --- with some Cal-Italian twists added here and there, as in the sesame ahi salad and blackened tilapia with a sriracha cream sauce. Pizzas come with toppings from asparagus and goat cheese to prosciutto and arugula. For dessert, tiramisu and chocolate cake are available. The prices are reasonable, and the service is efficient.
