Lucy's Cafe El Adobe Restaurant Review:
Paramount Studios employees treat this old classic as the local after-work cantina, as do other Angelenos who like Lucy's for good, cheap and large margaritas. The evocative old-L.A. ambience is complete with dark booths and a tiled, lushly planted Spanish patio. As for what arrives on your plate, expect less than extraordinary, somewhat bland Mexican cuisine with traditional tacos, enchiladas and burritos. Definitely start with a cup of the well-seasoned lentil soup, and the simple arroz con pollo (chicken on a bed of yellow rice) is better than most. For dessert, flan is the only option.
