![]() : Luxe inhabits a shabby-chic space filled with contemporary and vintage recycled art and furniture. The menu, created by chef-proprietor Marlin Kaplan, leans heavily on rustic-yet-modern dishes that aren't fussy or overplayed. Small plates are definitely the way to go. We suggest starting with the fried Brussels sprouts dressed in a bright citrus vinaigrette or the braised chicken wings with a spicy Sriracha butter. Follow it with the well-made and hearty carbonara, served with peppered bacon and caramelized onions; the truffle corn and kale risotto is light and sweet. The wine list sports some gems. For dessert, the molten marshmallow chocolate cake is worth the calories. |
