Marmalade Cafe Restaurant Review:

Part of a popular chain, this Marmalade Café outpost mirrors other branches in its homey décor, evoking images of an old country farmhouse. It's a noisy, busy place, and the menu extends well beyond the Heartland, with dishes such as a blackened ahi quesadilla, pizzas, pastas, cioppino, baby-back ribs, fajitas, chicken piccata and filet mignon. The selection is enormous --- à la The Cheesecake Factory --- but execution is more erratic. Ordering middle-of-the-road yields more reliable results. Local Malibu wines are also featured.
