Casa La Femme Restaurant Review:

This romantic fantasy of a Casbah is definitely theater-as-restaurant as opposed to restaurant-as-theater, with tented tables and the occasional belly dancers and tarot-card readers. It attracts a scene-y crowd who come for the entertainment as much as the food. The offerings from the kitchen are surprisingly good---lots of eat-with-your-fingers and scoop-up-with-pita-bread appetizers, such as hummus and baba ghanouj. You can recline on pillows and indulge in Egyptian fare featuring such entrées as grass-fed lamb chops, whole grilled prawns, and jasmine-rice-stuffed sweet bell peppers. Top it all off with a cup of strong, thick Turkish coffee.
