Euro Pane Restaurant Review:

This tiny, unpretentious bakery---a gathering place for local foodies---specializes in breads that go easy on fat, sugar and dairy. The flaky scones, white chocolate cakes, brownies, lemon bars, strudel and croissants, however, are rich in butter, sugar, eggs and cream. Also tempting are the blueberry muffins and sticky buns. The bittersweet chocolate tart is a memorable, intense experience and the delicate Parisian-style macarons feature inventive Pierre Hermé-inspired flavors. Sandwiches are offered, too, and the creamy open-faced egg salad, layered with greens and sun-dried tomato paste, is one of L.A.'s all-time great snacks.
