Half Shell Raw Bar on the old waterfront is a ramshackle joint with several outdoor decks and semi-open Sailfish bar --- a rowdy gathering place for locals who come to party and down cold beers with freshly shucked Gulf oysters and seafood finger foods, like beer-steamed peel ‘n’ eat shrimp or a bucket of steamed clams. There’s also conch fritters, fried oyster po’ boys and crab cakes on toasted Cuban bread, plus baby-back ribs for those averse to seafood. No AC and no tablecloths, but priceless views of Key West Harbor with a taste of island life.
