It’s funny that Pod is actually an "old timer" in University City; it was one of the earliest "new" spots to lead this area's ongoing dining revolution. And it's still a good place to go for inventive Technicolor cocktails, fun takes on Asian fusion dishes, and attentive service. Try the lettuce wraps, any of the dumplings, and wasabi-encrusted filet. We like the futuristic vibe, vinyl seating and walls, and fiber optic lighting that varies colors in different spots throughout the restaurant. The conveyor-belt sushi bar is a big item, as are the pods that seat two to six people.
