It’s funny that Pod is actually an "old timer" in University City; it was one of the earliest "new" spots to lead this area's ongoing dining revolution. And it's still a good place to go for inventive Technicolor cocktails, fun takes on Asian fusion dishes, and attentive service. Try the lettuce wraps, any of the dumplings, and grilled Kobe skirt steak. We like the futuristic vibe, vinyl seating and walls, and fiber optic lighting that varies colors in different spots throughout the restaurant. The conveyor-belt sushi bar is a big item, as are the pods which seat two to six people.
