Tacos Ensenada Restaurant Review:

Tacos Ensenada is a collection of five or six Formica tables in a tiny strip-center storefront with walls that are painted bright colors and adorned with plastic sea creatures. The menu is rather extensive, ranging from ceviche and seafood cocktails, fish soup, quesadillas and tortas, an octopus tostada and hefty burritos (the one stuffed with carnitas is a winner). But diners in the long line that gathers at the lunch hour are mainly seeking one thing: fish tacos. The crunchy but surprisingly light crust (which doesn’t fall off like at other places) protects the sweet, flaky flesh of nicely fried fish. Layered with cabbage and drizzled with a mild cream, these bargain-priced babies are well worth a drive deep into the San Gabriel Valley.
