THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Minibar Restaurant Review:
With a bold color palette, oversized art and polka-dotted walls, Minibar straddles the boundary---both literally and figuratively---between Hollywood and the more sedate San Fernando Valley. Its diverse crowd can't get enough of an inviting, eclectic menu of tapas-like small plates. Consider cross-cultural items such as smoked-and-spicy baby-back ribs with chipotle-infused barbecue sauce, Cajun-style empanadas, duck confit egg rolls with peanut dipping sauce, crab fritters with jalapeño aïoli, plantain latkes with Salvadorian sour cream, and much more. The creative menu is generally quite well-executed and a short wine list is equally eclectic. This is the kind of carefree, casual place that makes eating out fun again!
