Mixtape Restaurant Review:

Chef-restaurateur Jeremy Fall (Nighthawk Breakfast Bar, Easy’s) launched Mixtape on Beverly Boulevard in the former BLD space. An atmospheric interior will feature art from the likes of Quincy Jones, Vic Mensa, Tokimonsta and Jaden Smith, and there’s a brunch playlist created by Robin Thicke. An eclectic menu inspired by Fall’s Tunisian-Caribbean-Jewish-French background offers beef cheek poutine, mussels and chorizo, a fried jerk chicken sandwich, pastrami agnolotti, smoked salmon and latkes, and shakshuka. At the bar you can pick a song to accompany your craft cocktail; there’s also select beer and wine.
